Lauren has spent 15+ years building enterprise level software for companies including Turner/Time Warner & Thomson Reuters. Her passion to uncover base needs of varied users and turn that into elegant, effective solutions­ building something as a collaborative that would not be possible alone is the heart of her professional and artistic pursuits.

She is the co-owner and curator of the independent art collective and gallery Babycastles which has reinvented the arcade as a public gallery and social space for creative technology and independent game culture.

Lauren also acts as an administrator and organizer for the School For Poetic Computation, an artist run school that is a hybrid of a school, residency and research group where each year a small group of students and faculty work closely to explore the intersections of code, design, hardware and theory.
